Kārsava Great market

The tradition of the Kārsava Great market is almost 200 years old, since 1825 when landlord Shadurskis gave the right to the Kārsava village to arrange markets. The tradition has remained constant – every third Sunday of the month people from all over Latvia gather in Kārsava to buy and sell homemade goods you haven’t seen anywhere else.
