Istra nature park and lake of Istra

The surrounding of Istra and Vecslabada villages is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Latgale, with a lot of lakes and hillocks. Istra lake is the largest lake amongst the three lakes surrounding Vecslabada village. The lake with its islands and the surrounding landscape is a complex nature reserve. A wonderful panorama is seen from the tower on the shore.
